Dog runs are a blast. There is a huge one at Fort Tryon Park called the Sir William Dog Run. It's very nice. I took the boys out there and ran into some familiar faces and their owners.
I am going to cancel on the tax appointment I had and reschedule it for Tuesday.

Opera Season 2008-2009

Hi Guys,
Let me know which performance you would like to attend. First come first served. I am buying the dress circle tickets, which would be 64.50 each opera. If you want the balcony tickets, they are 25.50. I will buy the tickets as soon as I receive those people who responded with interest, their preference in seats. I would rather get the dress circle, but there is a big price differential, so let me know.

Tax time
I still have to mail my brother's taxes, and the Rovers taxes, as well as Koree's neverending taxes, but I am slowly and steadily getting through them all!
You can visit the following sites to get your own tax return filed:
IRS or the USPS.
That's enough of a public service annoucement.
I am still looking for a job so if you know of any good ones out there, let me know!

Fight Club
Watching Fight Club. It's strange that I can post some things on both sites and not others.

I "Haas" a Sunburnt
My mom and I watched the US Open today -- I have to figure out how many years we've been going, but it's been over 5 times I think. Today's draw was a bit unknown as Maria Sharapova, the no. 2 seed, was knocked out by Agnieszka Radwanska. My mom is afraid of heights, so the one year I bought Arthur Ashe accessible seats (which were really high up), she ended up leaving the stadium, even though her fave player Andre Agassi was playing. Ever since that time, we've gotten grounds passes. Although Roddick and Blake played today, they were in Ashe, so we were relegated to watching Radwanska get knocked out by Shalar Peer, while Agnes Szavay knocked out Julia Vakulenko. Besides for Peer (whose match I had seen the other day), I had never heard of any of these players.
Then we watched part of the ending of the Blake-Haas match on the big screen in front of Louis Armstrong stadium where we had spent over 5 hours. We left when 31 year old Lee was getting creamed by Nikolay Davydenko. It turned out that Tommy Haas won in a 5th set tiebreaker 7-4 over Blake.
My mom is sunburnt on her arms and face, and I'm sunburnt on my arms and thighs, as well as my nose. A kind soul on the line to the women's bathroom lent me some 55 proof sunblock for my thighs, whereas our nearby seat neighbors offered my mom and me some 45 proof kid's sunblock for my neck, arms, and face. But the damage was already done. When I got home I soaked myself in an Avon peach bubble bath (which reminds me I need to replenish it since I used the last of it), and now am cooling off in the living room with the a/c tuned to 72 degrees.
Guga is in dreamland next to me, while Paddy is relegated to the crate -- he was biting and humping Guga, so I had to give him a timeout. He stopped whining so I will take him out in a few minutes.
Yes, a very nice day. I haven't studied one hour this weekend, but I can feel myself geared up for a studious and intensive next three months.
